The charge: HTA s. 136(1)(a)
Stop at the line, the crosswalk, or the intersection.
Stop-sign charges are prosecuted under s. 136(1)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act. You must stop at the marked stop line; if none, immediately before the crosswalk; if none, immediately before entering the intersection.
Either you stopped at the correct location or you did not.
